Abstract

In this study, the ternary Al-Bi-Ge system was investigated through a combination of experimental and computational approaches. Phase diagrams were calculated using Pandat software, while experimental verification was performed on alloys from three vertical sections. The vertical sections Al-BiGe, Bi-AlGe and Ge-AlBi were examined using differential thermal analysis (DTA) to determine phase trans-formations and compare experimental phase diagrams with calculated ones. Additionally, Brinell hardness and electrical conductivity were measured for selected ternary alloys. The experimental data, combined with an appropriate mathematical model, allowed property prediction using the RSM meth-odology across the composition range
